Chatting is possible for all ages. Depending on their age, children can arrange their own healthcare matters or this is done by a parent or guardian.
Children under 12 years old
The parent or guardian chats on behalf of the child. Decisions about medical treatment are also made by the parent or guardian. You can log in with the parent's DigiD or the child's DigiD.
Children between the ages of 12 and 16
Children and parents are both allowed to chat. Decisions about medical treatment are made by both together. Log in with the child's DigiD.
Children over 16 years old
Children chat for themselves and make their own decisions about their medical treatment. They log in with their own DigiD.
Attention: Medical data of children under 16 cannot be retrieved from the systems because of country-wide agreements. This data is not visible.
