The Gezond app can be used at all ages. Depending on that age, children can manage health care matters themselves or have a parent or guardian do so.
Children under 12 years of age
The parent or guardian can chat with a healthcare provider on behalf of the child. Do log in with your child's DigiD. To make sure we are chatting with the right person, we will initiate a video call. It is not possible to see the medical record in the app.
Children between the ages of 12 and 16
Children may chat with a health care provider on their own. To make sure we are chatting with the right person, we will initiate a video call. It is not possible to see the medical record in the app.
Children older than 16 years
Children may chat with a health care provider on their own and can see their medical records. Read more about viewing medical records on the OPEN website.
